Poteet senior Courtnie Allen finished second in the 300 hurdles to earn a silver medal at the Class 4A state track and field meet at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on Friday.
Horn senior Olivia Amy, making her first trip to the Class 5A state track and field meet, will return from Austin with a silver medal after placing second in the 100 hurdles on Saturday.
