| A jewelry store owner was robbed Tuesday, but helped stop the bandits from getting away with valuables from the store, police said. The man, whose name police withheld, told officers he was opening MacTavish Jewelers at 14310 Culver Drive when two gunmen in masks walked in shortly after 9:30 a.m., Irvine police Lt. Rick Handfield said. |
