| Patricia A. Bates, who illustrated products from haute couture to hardware as a commercial artist for major retailers and the Sacramento Union, died of lung cancer June 26 in her West Sacramento home. She was 82. Bates was a graduate of the renowned Parsons School of Design in New York. |
