| Supporting Our Troops One Stitch at a Time (Plano Courier) |
| The North Texas Stitchers, a group of seniors involving fourteen women who gather each Thursday at Prairie Creek Baptist Church and another six women who work at home, have been sewing and constructing items to care for the soldiers in Iraq since March of 2006. Such items include neck coolers, head coolers, shoulder pillows, soap-on-a-rope, pocket bears, and prayer rocks. |
