I'm pretty certain a good majority of people are familiar with ActiveWebLinks Directory. I created that phpLD Directory as my first ever project and atttempt at a directory, php scripting, phpld, mysql, and the Smarty templating system.
Well, In the past few months since my inception into the Directory World, I've grown alot and have gained a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge, both from clientel based requirements, to me just wanting to experiement and see what I could do next. :) The end result, is what you are staring at, with even more to come. I've become so familiar with the script, that I can just about accomplish any task thinkable, and within reason. If you want it, I am 95% sure I can script it. And the best part of everything that I do for and in phpLD, is that I keep it 100% phpLD driven. Absolutely no 3rd party software whatsoever in my MODs. So let me explain in brief summarization and bulleted pinpoints what my MODs are about and what they do. So know a little more about this template...
This template is by far, the most EXTREME and customized phpLD template in existance to date.
It's completely Admin Control Panel Driven, so there is never a need to touch any code at all, EVER!
The total size of the graphics package(minus logo and icons for iconMOD) is 17.9kb, which means even 56k modem users will have no problems or delays in getting to the category they want.
- Alexa MOD
This MOD provides a means of giving you full control over the number of Alexa images to show, as well as control over the sizing of the images, with the ability to turn the images on or off, with optional settings to show only the title text if desired, without ever touching a line of code. - Show Title Only.
(Title then becomes a Hypertext Link)

This MOD can also be coded in such a way to accomodate category listings, whereas you can provide a viewable instance of, for example, the latest entires within the category. We know directories can get full very fast, and people may shy away from a submission just because they will end up on page 30 and never be seen. Well the modifications that can be done to this MOD can give a little back to the submitters by offering them a nice spot on the bottom, top, left, right wherever you choose, to be recognized. - Side Panel MOD
This MOD allows you to control which panels you would like to show and/or hide, providing you with alernatives for advertisement placement. The width of the side panels is totally customizable. 120, 180, 220, 260, 555... it doesn't matter. You control the dynamically resizable width. - Show/Hide Left Side Panel

Automatically adjust sub category alignment to keep your directory aligned, clean looking and intact. Take note of Category "Digital Signs" and see how the alignment adjusts to keep a neatly structured directory. Your directory will adjust according to your subcat settings you set in your admin control panel, automatically. - Sub category alignment adjusting based on your admin sub cat preview settings in your admin panel.

- Sponsorship Sorting
Want to enable the ability to show those who sponsor your directory and not spam it? You can have the selectable option in your admin panel to choose your listings based on supporters of your directory! - Enable/Disable sort by sponsor on default
- Sorting is by ascending order, which places non supporters the back on the line and on the last pages.
- Color coordinated listings based on supporters. Examples can be seen on the submissions page
- Listings bar code indicating who is and in not a supporter.
- Details page Indicator of who is a supporter. (Supporter: YES or NO)
- Advertisement MOD
This MOD provides the ability to insert an advertisement in your regular links section of your directory every X amount of links on a per page basis. this MOD also works with Pagination . You provide the insert value via the admin panel. - Assign advertisment to be shown every X links
