Shillong, Aug 27 (UNI) Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) have decided to set up three more new institutes, including a regional research center, in Northeast region to enhance access to education for distant populations.
All Christian educational institutes across the country will remain closed on Friday to protest the violence against churches and Christian institutions in Orissa where surge in violent activities has claimed 10 lives so far.
