Enter lantern design contest (The Des Moines Register)

A lantern design contest is accepting entries until May 30. Selected entries will be displayed during the city’s first Illumifest, a fall festival of light that is loosely based on the Chinese Fall Lantern Festival. To enter, Iowa artists may send a brief description and drawing or small model of their proposed lanterns.
