| New Mexico State University Science Center held its annual field day on Thursday — a sort of show and tell for the center. The more than 100 farmers and residents from Curry and Roosevelt Counties that attended were taken on a tour of the center’s field projects. |

With the rain that came, it saturated the fields and caused flooding, which kept farmers out of the field. Once the fields dried out enough, some farmers were faced with replants. It seemed as though the crops were never going to be planted. |
