Vardhman Textiles Q4 Standalone Net Dips 62% (Nasdaq)

(RTTNews) - Friday, Vardhman Textiles stated that the standalone net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 dipped 62% to Rs. 14.02 crores from Rs.36.91 crores in the same quarter last year. Total income grew to Rs.595.04 crores from Rs.552.89 crores in the year ago quarter.

The yarn maker will consolidate the Staunton operations at its Yadkinville, N.C., plant.
